MSR Micro Rocket
The MicroRocket carries small but burns big. More compact than the original PocketRocket, it fits easily inside an MSR Insulated Mug, and sheds 12g of weight. We've also boosted the stability of the pot supports, while maintaingin a robust, wind-resistant flame with WindClip protection. Includes a hand-held Piezo igniter.
Our Verdict
The Mirco Rocket is a lighter version of the modern classic, the Pocket Rocket. To achieve a saving of 12g there's no compromise in performance - its just as powerful and still has that nifty built in windshield acrooss the burner.
The new stove now comes with a separate piezo electric lighter (which actually weighs less than a firesteel) and a lightweight plastic container. As MSR indicates, this allows it to be packed away into smaller pansets than its bigger brother.
