MSR Carbon Reflex 2
The Carbon Reflex 2 tent is the lightest, double-wall 2-person tent we’ve ever made, crossing the barrier from ultralight to hyperlight. Utilizing the latest fabrics and cutting edge carbon fiber poles, we’ve shaved nearly a pound from the legendary Hubba Hubba™ tent, making this the new standard in ultralight performance. The best thing about the Carbon Reflex series tents, however, is what we didn’t take out—livability. Packing 7 ft. (2.2 m) of length, plenty of room to sit up in and a roomy vestibule, we’re continuing to prove our philosophy that traveling ultralight should increase your comfort—not compromise it.
Our Verdict
We're big fans of the Hubba series of MSR tents that feature spacious vestibules, near vertical walls and good headroom - the Carbon Reflex 2 is the Hubba Hubba taken a stage lighter - getting very close to the lightest tents but still retaining that livability.
