The Alpinist 2 Cook System offers the superior strength and light weight of hard anodized aluminum with the added capacity you need for melting snow and boiling water fast. A full-featured cook and eat system for two, it comes complete with our insulated stainless steel mugs and DeepDish™ plates, making it ideal for alpine ascents or long-distance journeys.
Includes: (1) 2.4L Hard anodized aluminum pot, (1) Strainer lid, (2) DeepDish™ plates, (1) Talon™ pot handle, and (2) insulated stainless steel mugs with lids.
Our Verdict
Every item in this set is practical - the two mugs are insulated metal mug with a plastic sip-lid to keep drinks warm for longer and each one is 0.4Litres so they aren't small either. Both nest together to fit inside the bowls which in turn fit inside the panset.
The bowls are deep, so they are very versatile - use for soup, pasta, meat and spuds or your dessert.
If yu are comparing with other pansets remember to factor in the fact that with this set you get two large insulated mugs and two large bowls, as well as the pot itself.
