Our Verdict
Excellent fully featured daypack with potential for overnight lightweight jaunts. A recurring theme with Mountain Equipment packs is that they are mid range in terms of weight but offer decent back systems and a lot of features, they don't compromise on material toughness or construction and weight is saved where performance is not affected.
The Fluid range are set to become very popular because they offer a padded and ventilated back with well thought out and usabl features. Your hydration bladder slips easily and quickly behind the backpanel and there is no fiddling with the tube and hole!
The large compression pocket on the front has a drain at the bottom so it would be ideal for a wet flysheet or bivi bag, allowing you to keep it handy for drying out later in the day.
