This fabric provides high protection against UVA and UVB radiation.

The UPF value of a fabric may be influenced by many factors, including:

Tightness of the weave or knit, Size of the yarns used, Fibre content or opacity of the yarns, Optical brighteners used in dyeing; and

Color of the fabric (light color tend to have a lower UPF rating than dark colors)
