Mountain Equipment Sleeping Bags Explained

Delivering weight savings of up to 30% and thermal performance improvements of up to 5 degrees, our range of Mountain Equipment down sleeping bags have been comprehensively developed to be better than their predecessors.

Good Night’s Sleep Guarantee

Mountain Equipment are so confident in their Sleeping Bag's performance that, in addition to the EN13537 laboratory temperature ratings, every Mountain Equipment Sleeping Bag comes with a separate “A Good Night’s Sleep Guaranteed” temperature rating. This is the minimum temperature that Mountain Equipment feel the bag should be comfortable to for an experienced user. This is their guarantee and they will swap out your bag for a warmer one if it does not perform as expected.

Fit

The fit of a sleeping bag is crucial in optimising performance. A well-fitting sleeping bag is not only highly comfortable it also reduces dead air space and maximises thermal efficiency. The Bags that we range all feature Mountain Equipment's Alpine Fit.

Alpine Fit is slightly more tapered in the upper body and in the legs than other fits. This maximises thermal performance and minimises weight.
