Our Verdict
Simple design and lightweight materials make these the lightest shorts in the Montane range, though they still have front and rear pockets and are made from tough, fast drying Tactel fabric.
Less features than the Terra Pack shorts, these are made for long distance racing, the heavier lining will be more comfortable when racing than the lightweight mesh lining of the Terra Pack short.
The lightest of the Terra range - no seat reinforcement or zip fly, still has two front pockets and one rear zipped. Mesh lining. Elasticated waistband.
Stretch fabrics and DWR coating make these the best weather performer and ideal for scrambling to Alpine summits. Front, rear and thigh zippered pockets. Close fitting with full zip fly, fitted waistband with double press stud closure and webbing belt.
