Small in dimension, large in image: The LR 6x18 with its ocular focusing system is the smallest and lightest of the LUGER compact binoculars. It is the only one with dual eyepiece focusing. The large 3 mm exit pupil and the 131 m wide field of view yield a very bright and broad image.
Our Verdict
As far as we are concerned quality is assured with Luger - our choice of binocular in this case comes down to weight - these are the lightest quality pair we could find. 6 times magnifiaction with individually focussed eyepieces make them very useful on the trail.
Ideal for bird watching - spotting the trail ahead - watching those climbers inching up Half Dome - or if you haven't looked at the moon through binoculars on a clear night in the hills - buy them just for that pleasure!
