| Lightwave t10 trek, 2 Skin, 1 Person Tent |
 |
The t10 is the lightest tent in the Lightwave range and offers solo users an unbeatable combination of space, weight and protection.
We believe that the classic two-pole tunnel makes for the best one-person tent. When compared with the current fashion for transverse-hoop designs, the tunnel wins on two major counts. Firstly, the wedge-shaped inner gives space where it’s needed – round the head and shoulders. Secondly, the tunnel’s aerodynamic structure, made even more stable by Lightwave’s ARCHitektur pole configuration, gives it vastly superior performance in bad weather. The one drawback to the tunnel design is that users with restricted mobility may find entering and leaving the tent difficult; these users will usually find a transverse hoop tent easier to live with. Those looking for even more space for solo use should also consider our t1 tents.
Many mountain eventers will find the t10 ideal for mountain marathons and adventure racing. Space for two is very tight but certainly bearable for the odd night out, plus we think that the extra warmth and protection offered by our double-skin t10 more than makes up for its very slight weight penalty over a damp and flimsy single skin!
Our Verdict
We are very pleased to be stocking Lightwave tents, whilst being pretty light for 2 skin tents with fabric inners they combine some very important design features that set them apart from many of their competitors - access the information pages via the buttons below.
