At 8ft long by 7ft wide, the Silwing provides approximately 56 sq ft (5.2 sq m) of coverage which is sufficient for up to 2 people. The seam line is catenary cut - its shaped to follow the natural curve between two suspended ends. The outside edges have dual curves, so the roof rigs effortlessly into a taut, smooth shape. Its very stable in wind and doesn't collect rain in pools at the edges.
With 8 reinforced light webbing tie-out points the SilWing can be set up on trekking poles or between trees in a versatile array of configurations. The edges are bound and reinforced with coated nylon to increase the seam strength and the tie out points durability. The SilWing is supplied with 30ft (9m) of 2.2mm ParaLine and a 1.5oz tube of Silnet for sealing the center seam.
