Granite Gear Womens Escape A.C. 60 Ki
The EscapeA.C. 60 Ki is built on our new Air Current suspension, using Cordura brand fabrics, making for a comfortable ultralight pack that’s durable and loaded with features. Escape A.C. suspension is the next step in the evolution of ultralight frame technology. It’s similar to our award winning Vapor suspension, however, instead of being a flat sheet with flat foam, the Air Current consists of a molded sheet and a molded foam pad. Not only does it fit the 3D contours of your back, and is engineered to flex with your movement, the Air Current suspension has integrated air channels, which makes for a cooler carry.
The Escape pack body is a top loader with a floating lid. On the pack’s front, there’s a large stash pocket with stretch panels that can accommodate much of the gear you need to have close at hand. The pack’s LineLoc compression system stabilizes the load without adding much weight. The side pockets are flat, covered with a stretch bottle pocket that’s angled perfectly for bottle access without taking off the pack.
Our Verdict
Granite Gear packs should be on your list for consideration if you are more interested in comfort than absolute weight reduction - or a pack that you can throw down a cliff without losing any gear - if thats you then your perfect carry awaits!
The packs are delivered with medium hip belts and shoulder straps - which suit most people (we've been selling Granite Gear packs for a number of years now) - however we are able to get alternative sizes - though we would request these from the US - so there would be a delay. If you require non standard components then talk to us.

What torso length should I get? To find your torso length, measure the distance between your seventh cervical vertebra and the shelf of your hipbones. Do this by standing up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Tilt your head forward and place your hands on your hips, thumbs to the back. With a flexible tape, have someone measure from the most prominent vertebra at the base of your neck to an imaginary line drawn between your thumbs. This will be your torso length.
Escape Torso Lengths: Short Torso 14” to 18” Regular Torso 18” to 22”
NOTE: Each framesheet has fine adjustment settings spaced in one inch increments to further fine-tun your fit. If you are an 17” torso try the short torso
