GoLite 2010 Adrenaline 3 Season Down Sleeping Bag |

|
| Who are GoLite and what are they up to? CLICK LOGO |
The centerpiece of the top rated sleeping bag collection by Backpacker magazine, Outside magazine and Mountain Bike magazine.
Materials: 800+ Fill Power Goose Down Renewable Insulation; 100% Tier 1 Recycled 22 Denier Polyester Fabrics; Diamond Ripstop Shell; Ripstop Lining;
Our Verdict
The Adrenaline Series are GoLite's premier ultralight bags, the 3 season model is the middle offering - the most versatile. The Pertex Shield head and foot protectors add weight but deliver real benefits - that extra bit of protection against moisture while not compromising the bags breathability.
The short central zip doesn't allow venting of the bag which is a compromise.

We use premium Eastern European sourced 800+ and 650+ fill power goose down in different products depending on the design and end-use. Down is still the most thermally efficient insulation available, providing more warmth for its weight than any other insulation available. Down is also superior in its drape, comfort, lifespan, and compressibility. All of our down is renewably managed using a hypoallergenic processing technique.
800 Fill Power 800+ fill power down is more compressible and provides a greater loft to weight ratio than 650+ fill power, and is used in our highest performance down products. We specify a 90/10 cluster to feather ratio for optimum loft and recovery.
650 Fill Power Our 650+ fill power down is 15% loftier than the industry standard 550+ fill power down and exhibits excellent compressibility and recovery characteristics. We process it to an 85/15 cluster to feather ratio to emphasize maximum recovery from compression.

Our newly developed Tier 1 recycled polyester and nylon materials test to the same high standards as their conventional, non-recycled alternatives. We use them because of the massive reductions in energy use and resource consumption required to produce them vs. the virgin, petroleum-based alternatives. More information can be found under ‘Performance Technology’ within ‘The Meaning of Lite’ section of the GoLite website. |

"Thanks to its top-of-the-line 800-fill down, light fabrics, half-length zipper and trim cut, the Adrenaline 20 packs down to the size of a loaf of bread. Even more impressive, at less than two pounds, the Adrenaline is about a half-pound lighter than the average 20-degree down bag. Add the unique zipper placement--right down the middle--and you've got a remarkably compressible and comfy bag."

"These sacks are warm like the Grand Canyon is big: You gotta experience it to understand it.
There are plenty of comfortable, compressible, lightweight sleeping bags out there. But there's only one test that really matters: Can the bag nail all three of those criteria and keep you warm wight down to the bottom of its temperature rating? Our testers pushed the limits of all three of the Adrenaline bags--from open-air bivies in Capitol Reef National Park to bone-chilling nights at 14,500 feet in Nepal--and even the cold-sleepers on staff reported blissful warmth."
