Using WINDSTOPPER soft shell, with its excellent stretch and windproof properties, the Windy Balaclava provides superb protection form the element and a close fit.
Flatlock seams and Lycra bound hems reduce rubbing, especially whilst wearing underneath a helmet. A fleece panel over the mouth area aids breathing and helps increase the temperature of air entering your lungs. In exceptionally cold environments this can prevent tissue damage.
A wired peak provides extra protection from the elements. A must have for expeditions, mountaineering or any cold weather outdoor activity.

Our Verdict
This is a tight fitting balaclava with a smooth outer surface (thats the windy bit) and a light microfleece brushed surface inside. Its a performance piece evidenced by the really close fit, there's even an elastic bound neck hole, and the small face opening - really cosy for extreme conditions.
