Our Verdict
CamelBak packs have awesome functionality - the Scudo has an easy access harness pocket perfect for stuffing away your rain gear, opening the zip pocket on the back panel reveals the huge 8cm diameter stopper on the Antidote Bladder which, when removed, means you can fill it very quickly and very easily.
With an additional 12.5Litres of cargo space the Scudo is a very able daypack or cycling backpack.
It has an integrated rain cover and an attachment for a rear cycling reflector or light - with reflective elements of its own, the Scudo is perfectly suited to long days in the saddle and even evening/early morning urban excursions on foot or by bike in any weather.
