Our Verdict
A short squat bladder that sits at the waist keeps this little pack extremely stable and there's enough room in the pockets and main mesh pouch to store small items such as an ultralight rain shell top and pants, some gels, food and other essentials. There is a v-shaped zipped cover to give good access to the bladder for filling - ideal if filling from a tap - if you need to fill from a river then the bladder's easily removable as well, the tube has a handy fast disconnect valve which means you don't have to worry about re-threading your tube - just clip in and go.
