A bright, non-glaring, pocket-sized mini lantern, the ultra-lightweight Orbit is perfect for trekking and backpacking where gram shaving is crucial.
Our Verdict
Not as lightweight as many headtorches but this lantern serves a different purpose, lighting up an area, or a tent, for an extended period - especially useful in the winter where a lantern is preferred to a torch.
Some nice touches like the dimmer switch and the 'broken' hook that allows you to hang it from a closed loop at the top of the tent. Also the main globe is heavily frosted so the light is diffused.
Black Diamond have upgraded the main light power to 45 Lumens in this the latest model.
