Our Verdict
Achieving such a low weight for a four person tent is astonishing. Big Agnes have added a cross pole to their Fly Creek design to extend the head height available inside - this makes it a bit more livable.
There's no doubt that the key feature if this tent is its weight - but to get that low there are compromises, these are: loss of head height, a single door, not much room or storage space (for 4 people) and not enough room for 4 people to sit together.
Having said that - if all you need is a place to crash - and you set up a tarp for cooking and eating outside - then this makes a great option. If weight is the most important factor then this is the tent for you.
Alternatively its a spacious option for three people and luxurious for two.
