Copper Spur UL Tents
Our lightest backpacking tents yet! Copper Spur UL tents truly redefine lightweight with their interior space to weight ratio. New fabric is lighter than anything we've used before but a high thread count and double twisted thread offers strength and durability.
Copper Spur tents feature DAC Featherlite NSL poles - featuring eco-friendly anodizing. DAC poles are superlight and strong with press fit connectors, and lightweight hubs.

Our Verdict:
As materials become ever lighter we are seeing much bigger lightweight backpacking tents offering more comfort, in many cases for less weight. The Copper Spur is a good example of this concept, read the review from Backpacker magazine - the ultralight fabric is combined with great design to ensure a large interior volume.
With internal sizes of 225cm length, 46cm rear width increasing to 106cm at the front end this tent is bigger then the Laser Competition, which is classed as 1+ for mountain marathoners.
Brilliant innovation for a solo tent is the back vestibule with 'small door' access for storing gear.
We think the supplied pegs are a bit heavy - 11g each - and as there are 9 of them the total weight could be reduced by around 45g by carrying a lighter alternative.
